Feature 01

Turf library and lifecycle

A card library for turf work. The screen groups published snapshots, unfinished drafts, and archived turf cards under one setup status strip.

  • Top strip shows turf, survey, and canvass setup status.
  • Turf cards show status, area, version, building count, safe units, and publish time.
  • Card actions open the builder, send to Canvass Manager, archive, or delete.

Source-backed map selection

The builder map pane. Organizers select actual GDX building footprints inside a community boundary.

  • Pan mode moves around the map.
  • Box and lasso tools select groups of buildings.
  • Selected footprints become draft buildings in the side panel.

Feature 03

Candidate search, filters, and counts

The source-building drawer beside the map. It turns the visible footprints into a searchable, filterable candidate list.

  • Search targets address or property labels.
  • Class, unit, and confidence filters decide which candidates appear.
  • Count cards show candidates, selected now, in draft, and safe-unit total.

Draft turf workspace

The draft review screen after buildings are added. It pairs turf metadata, the selected-building list, and the edit form.

  • Name, area, description, and planning notes live on the draft.
  • Selected-building cards are the current publish inventory.
  • Selecting a building card opens its edit form.

Publish readiness checklist

The publish gate in the selected-buildings column. It shows the draft checks before creating a snapshot.

  • Green rows mark required basics that are ready.
  • Warning rows show missing unit estimates or access notes.
  • The Publish turf button sits next to the checklist.

Building editor

The per-building edit panel. This is where one selected source record becomes a field-facing work area.

  • Display label and work-area label control field-facing names.
  • Property override, class, and group key support cleanup.
  • Remove drops the building from the draft.

Feature 07

Labels, unit estimates, and notes

The detail fields inside the building editor. They carry unit-count context and field notes into the published snapshot.

  • Unit scope and rollup key explain what the estimate means.
  • Unit override handles missing or unsafe counts.
  • Entrance, access, and organizer notes become handoff context.

Canvass Manager handoff

The published turf card's route into canvass setup. This connects the turf library to the next admin workflow.

  • Use in Canvass Manager is the handoff action.
  • Open builder lets admins inspect the turf.
  • Building and safe-unit totals travel with the snapshot.
